The Insurance Broker Core boost is a pack for independent insurance brokers that is extended step by step. This page shows what is documented today and what is only planned, so that you can judge the current scope without reading between the lines.

Documented today: Standalone add-on, user guide, reference​

The Standalone add-on is an open Frappe app, insurance_broker_core, that adds broker-specific workflows to an ERPNext v16 site: mandates, parties, products, risks, policies, advice, claims, privacy, document evidence, and commission reconciliation. It is a normal Frappe app, not an ERPNext fork, and it works without any Helpifyr component.

  • Start with the Standalone add-on documentation.
  • Work with the product in the Desk: the User guide follows a broker's working day, from parties and mandates to commissions, and describes tender as it exists today. It is a description of the source tree at version 1.0.0 (repo-ready) and makes no productive claim.
  • Look things up in the Reference: role matrix, state machines, and error codes.
  • Check the release notes for the exact release status. The source tree carries version 1.0.0 (repo-ready); this page makes no statement about a release tag or distribution channel.

How to read the status words​

Documentation in this boost follows one rule: only what is evidenced is described as a capability. Within the app, capabilities carry an explicit status (validated, supported, manual_only, model_only, blocked, not_applicable), and only validated capabilities may be claimed as productively validated. The details are on the overview page.
